We employ a consultative, flexible approach to help you define the search strategy. In our initial consultation we work to develop a shared understanding of the brief. Once we have a good understanding of the specification and the ideal candidate, we set to work defining the search strategy. This includes setting a time-frame for the project, identifying target industries, organizations and key industry sources, and selecting and tailoring our research products to suit your project.

Once the search strategy has been agreed, we then set out on the most critical stage of the assignment – helping you to identify qualified prospective candidates within a short period of time.

Our approach usually involves a combination of desk research and telephone research. In each case, the research undertaken is original or custom research, that is, it is not database generated. The advantage to you is that the research you receive is up-to-date, verified, and specific to each assignment and will ultimately save you time.

In the desk research phase we identify industry issues, relevant organizations, key individuals’ contact details and biographical information. The next phase is telephone research which involves talking to key industry figures for observations and recommendations, and talking directly to potential candidates to determine their suitability and interest. The advantage of candidate qualification is that you receive a list of individuals who are interested in discussing the opportunity further.
